It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paula Roy of Metairie, Louisiana, who passed away on September 26, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Paula Roy to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Roy and Adrienne "Addie" Roy. She is survived by: her sister Antoinette Roy Matt (Charles); her nieces, Ashley Hearn Matt and Adrienne Angele Matt; her great-nephew Caleb Nicholas Carlin; and her friends, Mary Lou Schmidt and Rose Marie Thibodeaux. She is also survived by her sister, brother-in-law, nieces, and great-nephew.

Upon receiving a scholarship to the University of Southwestern Louisiana, she earned a degree in medical technology and later obtained a certification from Charity Hospital in New Orleans, LA.
