He was predeceased by: his parents, Joan Wetta Ward and Charlie Ward. He is survived by: his wife Jane Elizabeth Ward; his sons, Shane Charles Ward and Dustin Charles Ward; his grandchild Addilyn Ward; and his sister Nancy Ward. He is also survived by four sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages everyone to honor Peter's memory by spending time outdoors with loved ones, teaching a skill to the next generation, helping a friend in need, or simply sharing stories around a camp as Peter would have done.
