It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Lee Williams Sr. (Metairie, Louisiana), born in Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on March 22, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Edward Williams Sr. and Clema Bell Jay Williams; his brothers, Samuel Williams and Louis E. Williams Jr.; and his son-in-law William R. Randall.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Jean Sarver Williams; his daughter Sharon Lynne Williams Andrews; his son-in-law Brian Andrews; his children, Donna Lisa Williams and Richard Lee Williams Jr.; his daughter-in-law Jayne Bayley Williams; his daughter Erika Luckie Williams Green; his son-in-law Matthew "Trey" Green III; his grandchildren, Greg Terpevich, Evan Evangeline Williams Andrews, Ryan Louis Williams, Jonah Scott Williams Andrews, Chloe Isabella Williams and Cary Skylar Randall; and his great grandchild Roman Louis Williams. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
