He is survived by: his wife Joan Thompson Gass; his children, Robert Gass Jr. (Erin) and Roblynn Sliwinski (Ken); his stepchildren, Kimberly Blanchard (Nick), Kurt Hampton (Alicia) and Kacie Hoerner (Brian); his grandchildren, Eugenie, Emily, Faith, Rina, Ryan, Jordan, Taylor, Dominic, Khloe, Landan, Joe, Ben and Annie; his great grandchildren, Connor, Kennedy, Ayden, Roman and Lillie; and his brother Lloyd Gass Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memories Funeral Home (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly ask that donations be made in Bob's memory to St. Jude's Hospital.
