He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Barba and Evelyn Barba; and his son Roger Barba III. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Barba; his daughter-in-law Terri Barba; his grandsons, Barba, IV, Jeffrey Barba (Olivia Cobb), Michael Barba (Ashley), Jonathan Barba (Gabrielle) and D. J. Barba (Carlie Andre'); his great grandchildren, Emma Grace and Lucas John Barba; his sister Mary Evelyn Doody; and his nieces, Kathleen Joyce (Jay) and Mary Lyn Rawls (David).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Saint Louis King of France (1609 Carrollton Ave, Metairie, LA 70005). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association , or mass intentions in his name.
