He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Vanderbrook and Dotty Hamm Vanderbrook; his brother Richard Vanderbrook, Sr.; his father-in-law Bobby Martin; and his son-in-law Toby Beaugh.

He is survived by: his wife Tammy Martin Vanderbrook; his children, Melissa V. Beaugh, Stephen Joseph, Jr. (Jessica) and Sean Michael Vanderbrook; his grandchildren, Parker Dorothy and Aidan Cyril Vanderbrook; his siblings, Bobby (Terri), Kathy and Larry Vanderbrook; and his mother-in-law Lessie Martin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
