He was predeceased by : his parents, Rosie and C. J.; his grandfather Hardeman Sr.; and his brother Charles J "Charlie" Hardeman Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Schmidt Hardeman; his children, Tom Hardeman Jr. (Jane) and Hollie Davis (Donn); his sisters, Judy LaBella (Joey) and Margaret Raye; his aunt Margaret Gray; and his grandchildren, Ben, Lucas Hardeman, Dondi and Rosemary Davis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the The Crossing (519 Williams Blvd, Kenner, LA 70062).
