He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Eaton; his son Gregory; his grandson Brandon; his parents, Salvatore Bonura and Catherine Bonura; and his siblings, Salvatore, Henry, John, Antonina Wolaver and Felix.

He is survived by: his children, Patricia Ciolino Scheffler (Stephen), Richard, Douglas, Susan Ciolino Redmond and Karen Ciolino Berthelot (Melvin); his daughter-in-law Iris Patterson Ciolino; and his brother Dr. Samuel Ciolino. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
