He was predeceased by: his father O. A. Garland III; and his grandparents, Tom, Bernice Lee and Beatrice Garland. He is survived by: his mother Ginger Bufkin; his stepfather Jimmy Bufkin; his stepsiblings, Jackie Garland, Brian Garland, Stephen Garland and Buba Bufkin; his close friends, James Landfair and David Edmonson; his aunt Dot Solice (Lee); and his uncles, Tracy Lee (Jackie), Danny Garland (Dottie) and Robert Lee (Sherry). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rose Neath Funeral Home Chapel (211 Murrell St, Minden, LA 71055).
