We are sad to announce that, on October 27, 2025, at the age of 75, Opal D. Williams (Minden, Louisiana), born in Shreveport, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Opal is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Opal's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hebert Parker and Eva Parker; her son Michael Hollowell; her sister Linda Beshea; and her grandson Kenneth Hollowell.
She is survived by: her husband James Terry Williams of Minden; and her children, Jamie Williams of Ruston, Edward V. Harwell of Shreveport, Lisa McDaniel (Andy) of Minden and Kimberly Hall (Jimmy) of Dubberly. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
