She is survived by: her husband Tom Causey; her children, Laura Nichols Lightner (Mark), Tommy Causey (Susan) and Mike Causey (Angel); her grandchildren, David Nichols (Tressie), Kyle Nichols (Hannah), Rachel Causey (Graham Picard), Rebecca Causey Batson (Alex), Thomas Causey (Olivia), Katy Smith (Andy), Claire Haight (Garrett) and Caroline Causey; and her great grandchildren, Graham Thomas Nichols, John Wilson Nichols, Cooper Thomas Nichols, Ella Patton Nichols, Mary Katherine Smith, James Smith, Henry Smith, Graham Haight and Annie Claire Haight. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in Betty's memory be made to Gideon's International, North Monroe Baptist Church Building Fund, or the Compassion Center at Louisiana Baptist Children's Home.
