He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Hitt and Maurice Hitt (Donel); his brother Levi Howard Hitt; and his former wife Virginia Ann Hitt. He is survived by: his wife Sara L. Hitt of Jonesboro, AR; his son Timothy Hitt (Robin); his grandchildren, Mia, Scarlett, Connor and Tyler; his daughter Faith Marx (Daryl); his grandsons, Matthew and Nicholas (Sadie Ragusa); and his siblings, Curtis Wayne Hitt, Tommy E. Hitt, Maurice L. Hitt, Kenneth Barry Hitt and Evelyn Janet Hitt.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Rollers-Farmers Union Funeral Home (1900 W Washington Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
