He is survived by: his wife Terri Seidenspinner Fassett; his stepdaughter Jennifer Robin Gay (Michael); his grandchildren, Amber and Chase Gay; his siblings, Kathryn Louise Brooks and Bruce Alan Fassett; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Albritton (Bill) and Wayne Seidenspinner (Denise).

In lieu of flowers family requests memorials be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
