She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Hargus, Sr. and Duline Jones Hargus Mizell; her stepfather Winton Mizell; and her brother Stanley J. Hargus of Monroe. She is survived by: her husband Stanley R. Palowsky, Jr.; her children, Stanley R. Palowsky, III (Michele) of Monroe, Steven R. Palowsky (Cristina White Palowsky) of Monroe and Stacy R. Palowsky of Covington, LA; her grandchildren, Dr. Zachary R. Palowsky (Anna) of Shreveport and Lauren Palowsky; her brother George W. Hargus, Jr. (Kathy) of Bothell, Washington; her sister-in-law Lynn J. Hargus; her nieces, Nicole Hargus Rasco (Matthew Rasco) of Monroe and Arrah Hargus Karigan (Brad Karigan) of Ellisville, Missouri; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Tyler Brown of Valley Village and Christian Karigan of Ellisville, Missouri.; and her pets, Ace and Earl Gray.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bayou Baptist Church (866 LA-139, Monroe, LA 71203). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Mulhearn Memorial Park (623 US-80, Monroe, LA 71203).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bayou Baptist Church for the missions fund, PAWS of Northeast Louisiana, or River Cities Humane Society for Cats.
