He was predeceased by: his parents, Peewee Dew and W. J. Dew; and his grandparents, Mona, Clyde Goyne, Bill and Georgie Dew.

He is survived by: his wife Pat Dew; his children, Robin Wiggins (James), Ginger Hackler and Pam Moore (James); his brother Roger Dew (Dollie); his grandchildren, Josh Banks (Ashley), Mallory Williams (Jared), Savannah Hackler, J. C. Moore (Lacey) and Branden Moore (Lauren); and his great grandchildren, Hayden Banks, Macon Williams, Brock Williams, Stafford Moore, Eva Claire Moore and Jude Moore.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Sterlington First Baptist Church or to the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum.
