He was predeceased by: his parents, Prentes Martin Borden and Jewell Greer; and his brothers, Charles Wayne Borden and Martin Borden, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Irma P. Cumpton Borden of Monroe; his daughter Donniel Hooter (Joseph Eric) of Monroe; his granddaughters, Magan B. McNeill (Brendan) and Audrey Nelson (Aaron); his great grandchild Joseph Nelson; and his siblings, Mary Ann Harris, Robert Eugene Borden and Randy Borden (Gail). He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
