It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily Blomquist Higdon (Monroe, Louisiana), who passed away on April 11, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William B. Higdon; her mother Annie Toland Blomquist; and her sister Betty Ann Blomquist. She is survived by: her daughters, Ellen Caldwell, Walt Caldwell, Jackie Guerriero and Justin Guerriero; her grandchildren, Madelyn McCartney, Dillon McCartney, Sarah Deese, Cody Deese, Corbin Caldwell, Jessica McDaniel, Randall McDaniel and Bonnie Guerriero; her great grandchildren, Piper Emmons, Nolan Emmons, Aidyn, Madison and Ezra McDaniel; her brother Carl Blomquist; Cecelia Blomquist.
