With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Carter Greer of Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on August 25, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carter and Olie Upshaw Carter; her siblings, Gladys Carter Valudos, Alice Carter Rainwater, Carter Rainwater, Ruby Carter Dayberry and James; her son Carter (Agnes Virginia Carter Shelton); and her son-in-law Johnny Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Johnson; her stepchildren, Ed Greer (Carol) and Sue Greer Jensen; her son Tom Davis; and her sisters, Mary Carter and Doris Haynes.
Memorials made be made to First Methodist Church in Monroe.
