He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Earl and Lillie Mae Hood Ellerbe; his son Darrell Ellerbe; his siblings, Lucille Moore, J. L. Moore, Harley Ray Moore and Roy Ellerbe; and his parents-in-law, Martin and Beulah Posey.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Ellerbe; his daughter-in-law Pam Ellerbe; his children, Bethany May (Jimmy) and Glenn Ellerbe (Dorie); his grandchildren, Brad Ellerbe (Sam), Jeffery May (Caitlyn), Chad Ellerbe (Emily), Cameron Ellerbe and Callie Ellerbe; his great grandchildren, Kayla May, Drake May and Ezra Ellerbe; and his brother Roger Ellerbe (Benita). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews; and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Homes - West Monroe (1321 N 7th St, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (451 LA-151 N, Calhoun, LA 71225).
