He was predeceased by: his parents, James Calvin Simpson and Anne Marie Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Karen Simpson; his brother Steve Simpson (Patti); his children, Amy McQuillin (Jerry), Brandon Simpson and Ellie Burch (Travis); and his grandchildren, Caleb Ramey, Jerico, Veda Burch and Sophie Simpson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - Monroe (2308 Sterlington Rd, Monroe, LA 71203). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
