He was predeceased by: his parents, W. J. Hicks and Mary Wiggens Hicks; and his brother Bill Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Silk Hicks; and his brothers, Rusty Hicks, Mike Hicks and Ben Hicks.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - Monroe (2308 Sterlington Rd, Monroe, LA 71203). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home (2308 Sterlington Rd, Monroe, LA 71203).
