She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gaines and Lois Gaines; her siblings, Jerry Traynham, Joe Traynham and Barbara Burdette; her grandson Robert Anthony Fava; and her daughter Diedra Dawn Fava Miller.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Lewis Fava, Sr.; her son Robert Lewis Fava, Jr.; her children-in-law, Jerome Andrew Miller (Seana) and Amanda Fava; her grandchildren, Thomas Kennedy, Elizabeth Marie Neilson (Luke), Joseph Anthony Miller (Nicole) and Therese Marie Katherine Miller; and her great grandchildren, Quentin Joseph Bernard Neilson, Stephen Patrick Becket Neilson and Clara Marie Miller. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Catholic Church (121 Jackson St, Monroe, LA 71201). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
