It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph A. Maggio Jr. (Monroe, Louisiana), born in Natchitoches, Louisiana, who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma Gregory Maggio; and his parents, Joseph A. Maggio, Sr. and Lena D'Amico Maggio. He is survived by: his sister Maria Maggio; and his children, Theresa Brandle (Scott), Bryan Maggio (Heidi), Eric Maggio (Ray), Andrea Powell (John) and Jennifer Blanchard (John). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
During his tenure at St. Francis, Joe made significant contributions to the healthcare field.
