He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Terry Malta and Louis Paul Malta; his cousin Anthony Malta; and his brother-in-law Jay Perdue. He is survived by: his wife Frances Malta; his daughters, Julie Malta, Sherie Malta and Lori Allen (Andy); his grandson Andrew James "AJ" Allen; his siblings, Louis Malta (Wanda), Barbara Hartley and Connie Perdue; and his grandson AJ. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
