He was predeceased by: his parents, Jamie Sanderlin Brodie and Kenneth Ray Brodie. He is survived by: his significant other Jack Randal Gunter (Randy); his sister Margaret Tracey Philley (Lannie B. Philley); his nephews, Christopher Bowden Davis (Stephanie Leigh York) and Shelton Brodie Davis; his niece Sara Philley Edwards (Jon Edwards); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Amos Edwards, Pace Edwards and Townes Edwards.
