She was predeceased by: her parents, Madison Touchstone Pace and Mary Lou Douglas; her husband Carlton Cecil Smith; her children, Jerry Lynn Cloud, David Cecil Smith, Bettina Rae Hitchcock and Phyllis Ann Williams; and her grandson James Carlton Green.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Kay Young and Gregory Wade Smith. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - Monroe (2308 Sterlington Rd, Monroe, LA 71203). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at the Riverview Cemetery (3901 S Grand St, Monroe, LA 71202).
