He is survived by: his children, Michael Murray Greer (Meredith), Daniel Harrison Greer (Lillian) and Anna Lisa Greer Deal; his grandchildren, John William Greer (Loren), Murray Hays Greer III (Rebecca), Michael Talbot Greer, Jackson Harrison Greer, Jacob Robert Deal, Sarah Jane Deal and Mary Loftin Greer; his great grandchild Wesley James Greer; his grandchildren, David Barnes, Jr. (Brookley) and Brigitte Barnes Trego (Austin); and his brother William Jesse Greer (Cookie).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mulhearn's Funeral Home (2308 Sterlington Rd, Monroe, LA 71203). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
