It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Bendel Paulus of Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Emmitt George Carl Paulus and Mary Francis Elliott Paulus of Monroe, LA; and his stepbrother Raymond Jacobson of Hazelhurst, MS.. He is survived by : his wife Pauline Crenshaw Paulus; his children, Janet Lynn Paulus of Niceville, FL, Samuel Curtis Paulus of Allen, TX and J. Gregory Paulus of Miami Beach, FL; his grandson Caleb Michael Young of The Woodlands, TX; and his brother Jack Foster (Marilyn Pittman Foster) of Hazlehurst, MS. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces with numerous extended family.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the North Monroe Baptist Church (210 Finks Hideaway Rd, Monroe, LA 71203). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery (623 US-80, Monroe, LA 71203).
