She was predeceased by : her parents, Loy (Odessa Stewart) and Rita. She is survived by : her son Doug Brown; her siblings, Dorothy "Butch" Stewart (Fay Wainwright) and Loy (Stewart); her daughter Shannon Brown; her grandchildren, Chelsea Spikes (Wes) and Morgan Brown; and her great grandchild Eila Brown. She is also survived by Her numerous nieces, nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Griffin F. H. (911 Warren Dr, West Monroe, LA 71291).
