He was predeceased by: his parents, J. E. Shelby and Rachel Shelby; and his wife Laurie Shelby. He is survived by: his children, Stewart Shelby (Rachel), Mason, Davis Shelby, Will Shelby, Ryleigh, Madison Shelby, Scott Shelby (Brienne), Amanda and Abbey Shelby; his stepchildren, Bart Hall (Tara) and Lindsey Gross (Darrel); his sister Sandra Cloud (Randy); and his nephews, Chris, Craig, Mark and Michael Cloud.
