With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronda Flowers Whorton of Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on February 23, 2026 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward and Nelda Jean Flowers; and her sister Rosemary Lynn Flowers. She is survived by: her husband James Whorton; her daughter Lara; her son-in-law Chad Wood; her grandchildren, Samuel Meredith, Chance Wood and Chandler Wood (Kacy); her great grandchild Emersyn Wood; and her siblings, Dale Flowers (Dana) of Alpena, AR, Judy Edwards (Mark) of Harrison, AR, Lisa Durbin (Kerry) of West Monroe, LA and Lori West (Coley) of Baton Rouge, LA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
