With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruthie Cassel Boone (Monroe, Louisiana), born in Delhi, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2025 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Cassel and Katherine Cassel (Jimmy); her daughter Sheri Boone (Weasel); and her brothers, Herman Cassel Jr. and Valter Cassel.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Davis; her grandchildren, Candace Green, Brittany Kirby, Caleb Davis (Liz Davis) and Raylea Nealy (Josh Nealy); her great grandchildren, Kolten, Camden, Branson, Braycen, Sadie, Addi, Melissa, Freddy and Jaxon; and her brother-in-law Ronny Boone.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Warsaw Baptist Church (2845 LA-577, Delhi, LA 71232).
