He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Childress; his children, Dennis Ray Hulsey of Houston, TX, Sidney Earl Childress Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, William Gilbert Childress (Jennifer) of Norman, OK, Brenda Michelle Gordy and April Kay Hood of Leesville, LA; his grandchildren, Ryan Gordy, Tanner Gordy, Tate Wilson, Amber Wilson, Shane Childress, Shasta Underwood, Lee Childress, Brittany Sanford, Dallas Powers, Devin Powers, Austin Childress, Jordan Childress, Madison Childress, Landon Childress, Anita Plainchara and Faith Hulsey; and his great grandchildren, Greyson, Miyah, Kaindance, Jarron, Jaden, Kylee, Kade, Amieya, Silas, Jonah, Braelyn, Alonna, Aliza, Karsyn, Kaisly, Bailey, Alyssa, Drew, Emma, Logan, Cameron and Timothy. He is also survived by four great-great-grandchildren.
