She is survived by: her sons, William Carroll Crawford, Jr. (Billy) and John Kevin Crawford (Kevin); her granddaughters, Katherine Elizabeth (Katie) and Sydney; her stepgrandson Tyler Taunton; her stepgreat-grandsons, Gavin and Grant Taunton; her siblings, Frances Thurman and William Smith; and her granddaughter Katie.
She chose to donate her body to LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport, Louisiana in hopes that their study will help other generations to come.
