He was predeceased by : his parents, Sydney A. Cameron, Sr. and Eleanor Tucker Cameron; his wife Sara Del Stevens Cameron; his son Matthew Stevens Cameron; and his granddaughter Ashlyenn Mercer Cameron.

He is survived by : his children, Eleanor Elizabeth "Betsy" Cameron of Monroe, LA and Malcolm Cameron (Karen) of Prentiss, MS; his daughter-in-law Patricia Cameron of Monroe, LA; his grandchildren, Christy Ann Gray (Jeremy), Jessica Lynn Flood (Cody), Samantha Earley Chisholm (Chris), Connor Allen Cameron, Garrett Stevens Cameron and Parker Martin Cameron; his great grandchildren, Elliott, Judah and Ada Ruth; his sister Edith Cameron McMillen; and his sister-in-law Laura Stevens Boyd.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1301 Oliver Rd, Monroe, LA 71201). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
