He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Spires and William V. Spires (Bill); and his sister-in-law Lori Spires. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Eleanor Bergin (Jaron), Larkin Spires and Daven Spires (Katharine); his grandchildren, Margaret Bergin, Xander Spires, Catherine Bergin, Camille Spires and Ruffin Spires; and his brothers, William (Billy), John Spires (Frances) and Allen Spires, Sr. (Dino). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
