It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William David McGuffee of Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on May 26, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry McGuffee and Hattie Mae McGuffee; his son David William McGuffee; and his brothers, Woodson and Pete McGuffee.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Ruth McGuffee; his sisters, Betty Cavanaugh and Hattie White; his children, Janie Denise Simpson, Carmen Louise Patrick and Arron David McGuffee; Jimmy McGuffee. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
