He was predeceased by: his parents, William Neil Pope, Sr. and Lucille Mary Kihneman Pope; his son Jeffrey Scott Pope; and his former wife Linda McFarland Pope. He is survived by: his son Jason Pope (Patti); his grandchildren, Jason Thomas Pope, Presley Kate Turner and Denver Waren (Brianna); his girlfriend Mary Day; his great grandchild Harlow Waren; and his close friends, Melissa Caballero, Georgia Turner, Virgil Brantley, Buddy Hollis and Gene Williams.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Louisiana Speech Language Hearing Association.
