We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2024, at the age of 82, William Tillery Watson of Monroe, Louisiana, born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Tillery Watson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Irma Tillery and Thomas Bryan Watson; his siblings, Thomas Bryan Watson, David Eugene Watson and Catherine Watson Prichard; and his brother-in-law Lawrence S. Prichard.

He is survived by : his wife Dorothy Stephenson Watson; his children, Susan Watson Erskine of Monroe, LA and William Bryan Watson (Brett) of Iowa City, IA; and his grandsons, Joshua Erskine, Owen Erskine, Luke Erskine, Beckett Watson, Beau Watson and Banks Watson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - Monroe (2308 Sterlington Rd, Monroe, LA 71203). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
