With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Prosperie Comeaux of Montegut, Louisiana, who passed away on November 22, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Comeaux Sr.; and her parents, Nicholas Prosperie and Florence Robichaux Prosperie. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Comeaux Jr., John Comeaux, Robin Comeaux Bonvillain, Josel Comeaux Harson, Sharon Comeaux, Tina Comeaux and Tonya Marie Broussard.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:40 PM at the St. Stephen Catholic Church (3217 2nd St, Berwick, LA 70342). A rosary was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to assist in the alleviation of funeral expenses.
