He is survived by: his children, Julie Burkhalter (Jeff) of Natchez, MS and Alton Knapp, Jr. (Tanya) of Prairieville, LA; his siblings, Ellis Knapp (Beverly), Evelyn Smith of Prairieville, LA and Cathy Richerson (Robin) of Orange Beach, AL; his grandchildren, Christian Knapp, Barnett Knapp, Landon Knapp, Joshua McCall (Lana), Asher Burkhalter, Melissa Bryant (Devin), Justin May (Jana) and Brittany Maxwell (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Cara, Stratton May, Aiden, Adeline, Collins Bryant, Joe, Liam, Sawyer Knapp, Gracie Hale, Layla and Lida McCall.
