He was predeceased by: his wife Debbie Whatley; his sister Paula Whatley; his niece Sandy Serda; and his mother-in-law Annie Moss. He is survived by: his parents, Johnny Whatley and Martha Whatley; his children, Hunter Whatley (Alexis), Leah Whatley (Darryl) and Paula Whatley (Caeleb); his grandchildren, Jaylon, Alayah, Darrielle, Maliah, Landon, Lailah and Lilly; his brothers, Randy Whatley (LeAnne), Jimmy Whatley (Pam) and Donny Whatley (Chona); and his close friend Jennifer Brownell.
