She was predeceased by: her son Ferrell Elmo Bruce; her grandson Christopher Slater; and her parents, William MacKay and Eilaen MacKay. She is survived by: her husband Terry Hynes of Montgomery; her son Thomas William Bruce, Sr. (Sandra Ann) of Montgomery; her daughter-in-law Lenora Bruce of Montgomery; and her grandchildren, Michael Curtis Smith, Robert Trevino Mora, Jr., Thomas William Bruce, Jr. (Jessica), Malcolm Thomas Bruce, Tia Breann Smith (Leonard) and Cherokee Raynne Bruce. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
