He is survived by: his father Jerry Spurgeon; his stepmother Jenni Spurgeon; his children, Alex Spurgeon, Carl Cahoon, Sara Phillips, Skylar Deramus (Mike) and Hanna Bohler; his siblings, Christopher Spurgeon (Teresa), Charles Spurgeon (Tanya), Kelton Spurgeon (Amber), Quilla Odom (Joseph) and Tabatha Parker (Wayne); his stepsiblings, Jerry "JJ" Hanes (Lasey), Alexander Hanes and Justina McCartney; his grandchildren, Gabriel Johnson, Fallon Bohler, Cassie Bohler, Amelia Bohler and Malachi Spurgeon; and his nieces and nephews, Hannah, Glory, Caleb, Chance, Jeffery, Andrew, Leelan, Jamey, Faith, Divinity, Calvin and Samuel.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Life Pentecostal Church (600 Greer Rd, Pineville, LA 71360). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
