It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Charlene Myers of Montgomery, Louisiana, who passed away on March 13, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Dalton and Gladys Dunavan; her husband Bobby Ray Myers; her siblings, Melva Norris, James Dunavan and Bob Dunavan; and her great grandchild Everly Rae Bakalis.
She is survived by: her sons, Ted Allen Stroud, Robert Stroud (Marie), Donny Stroud (Toni) and David Stroud (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Camile Stroud, Chasity Adcock (Jason), Cory Stroud (Kayla), Nicole Bakalis (Phil), Cody Stroud (Taylor), Jonathan Ray, Tonya Chaney (Dave), Chris Eddleman (Carla), Bree Spillman (Ethan), Megan Barnes (Micah) and Brent Shaw (Jessica); and her sister Myrna Hearne. She is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
