She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin Ackerman Jr.; her son Todd Ackerman; her parents, Warren DeVillier and Augusta Soumeillan; and her brother Jimmy DeVillier.
She is survived by: her children, Felicia Fontan (Tim), Nichole Cheramie (Larry), Al Ackerman III (Rina) and Terence Ackerman; her grandchildren, Michael Barletta Jr., Matthew Barletta, Michelle Barletta, Mitchell Barletta, Lisandra A. Dyer, Elise Ackerman, Michaela A. Malsby, Jeremy Ackerman, Lauren Cheramie, Grant Cheramie and Caitlynn Ackerman; her great grandchildren, Sasha, Malaina, Triston, Carmen, Layla, Fallon and Remy; and her siblings, Frances Price, David and Curt DeVillier.
