With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlene LaCoste Ohmer of Morgan City, Louisiana, who passed away on August 20, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse LaCoste and Mamie Barrilleaux LaCoste; her siblings, Diana Ratcliff, Irene Dubois, Clint LaCoste and Herbert LaCoste; her father-in-law Gerald Ohmer Sr.; her sister-in-law Jamie Ohmer Head; and her siblings' children, Brittani Head and Thad Ohmer.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Ohmer Jr.; her daughters, Jessica Jones (Heath) and Erika Lynn Ohmer; her grandchildren, Morgan Crews Bonilla, Erin Crews, Rainnie Simon, Breanna Jones and Brock Jones; her great grandchildren, Addy Simon, McKinley Simon, Laynie Simon, Kaden Simon and Briley Ganaway; her siblings, Rosa Elliot, Jessie Gauither, Nancy Domangue (Tommy) and Russell "Rusty" Barrileaux (Shelby); and her mother-in-law Viola Ohmer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
