It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eldridge Paul Williams of Morgan City, Louisiana, who passed away on July 11, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Williams, Sr. and Myrtle Bernucho Williams; his siblings, Stanley Williams, George Williams, Jr., Clara Manning, Mildred Williams and Myrtle Jesclard; and his grandson Jason Hotard.
He is survived by: his wife Velma Verret Williams; his children, Sherry W. Hotard (Theo), Shelia Hotard (Keith), James Williams and Tammy Verrett (Kevin); his grandchildren, David Stansbury, Heather Hotard, Sheena Williams, Mandy Turner (Darus), Jennifer Hotard, Cory and Bridget Arceneaux (Josh); and his great grandchildren, Kenzie Louviere, Zack Turner, Blake, Blade Pennison, Reese and Ryder Arceneaux. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
