He was predeceased by: his parents, Mac McCleary and Mary McCleary; his in-laws, T. R. and Elaine Naquin; and his brother Stephen McCleary.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara McCleary; his children, Mimi Osborne (John), Jimmy McCleary (Teeny), Jason McCleary (Tracy) and Keeley Woodfield (Woody); his grandchildren, Mac McCleary (Cassidy), Hayden McCleary (Leah Authement), Ethan McCleary (Gabby), Dylan McCleary (Sadie Marcantel), Patrick Brooks, Jack Osborne, JP McCleary, Colton James Woodfield and Katie Osborne; his great grandchild May Louise McCleary; his sisters, Bridget Arcemont and Karen Adams; his sister-in-law Gwen McHugh; and his close friend Evan Chabot.
Viewing was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Calendar Sacred Heart Catholic Church (415 Union St, Morgan City, LA 70380). A Mass was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
