She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Jasper and Elizabeth Connaughton. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Pete" Covington III; her sons, Chris Covington (Jennifer) and Kurt Covington (Melanie); her granddaughter Emily Covington-Guillory (Alex); her great grandchild Cecilia; her son Guillory; and her siblings, Mary Jasper Miller, Tom Jasper and Bill Jasper. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (415 Union St, Morgan City, LA 70380). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Jan's honor.
